Heading to Storm

Storms can create a lot of damage and ruin a lot of structures. This is why SERVPRO of Highland Village is part of Storm Team Wilson. Being a part of a storm team means that our Storm Team leaders can dispatch us any time there is a storm loss in order to help people affected by a storm. A storm event can be many things, but typically storms are hurricanes, tropical storms, tornadoes, or a large blizzard or freezing event.

Types of Storm Work

There are two types of Storm work we do, uncovered and covered. Uncovered Storm work includes being more involved with just the customer, as their insurance will not cover the loss. Covered Storm work includes being more involved in communication with the insurance company, because the loss is covered under the customer’s policy.
